The Promise

This is a Promise I make to my beloved
We are from two different worlds,
Yet I promise that I will be where you are.

We have different dreams and aspirations,
Still I promise to make your dreams into reality.

We may have to face sorrows and pain,
But we together can turn those into happiness.

We may have to go through life's hardest struggles,
Fear not at that time, just hold my hands.

Be with me and feel my love for you,
Let's be the ones we wished for each other.

The spaces between us may be too far,
But let our feelings make it closer to us.

When the moon and stars lights up the sky,
Let us bring light to our future's promise.

Forget the worries and pains you bear,
And remember to be with me to the very end.

If you ever feel to leave me and walk away,
Please tell me, I will set you free from me.

But when you feel like coming back,
Do come, I will be waiting at the door step.
